- Foreign media,
- Latvian and foreign embassies,
- Latvian governmental and self-governmental institutions,
- International non-commercial Latvia-promoting events (including publications, exhibitions, conferences, CD-ROMs, broadcasting media and the Internet etc.).

Editorial material, for instance annual reports of individual companies or other specific company information, is not considered general promotion of Latvia. Images may not be used in advertisements or to market any specific company, product or service. Advertisements for products, that is, goods and/or services that are shown in direct connection with an image, are not considered to promote Latvia.

By ordering this photo image from Latvian Institute, I accept these rules and promise not to use the images in a way that is connected to the promotion of pornography, violence, racial or national hatred, religious intolerance or libelous attacks on individuals or legal entities.

I promise to place the following information on the image: first name and name of the photographer and the name of "The Latvian Institute" ("Photo: www.li.lv - Name of photographer / The Latvian Institute"). I will not sell or give the image to any third party. I will not process or manipulate the image in any way which changes the content of the picture or include as a part of another picture (montage)
