"Welcome to Latvia"

Featuring the song "Welcome to my Country" by Brainstorm.

Latvia is in the heart of Europe and on its way to meet the challenges of the 21^st century. This 5-minute video takes you on a musical tour of Latvia today the people and the very special places that make it one of the Baltic Sea's natural and cultural treasures.

This video has won the Grand Prize in the international tourist film festival "The Viter Mandriv" (Wind of Travel) in 2004, Ukraine. The video was pronounced to be the best in category "Tourism promotion".

"Sounds Like Latvia"

The Latvian Institute's new promotional 5-minute video "Sounds Like Latvia" was produced by "Style Masters Studio" and features what could become a memorable trademark for the city of Riga - talking Art Nouveau statues that introduce Latvia as a place for fun, business and excitement.

This video has won the Grand Prize at the 40th Annual Tourfilm Festival in Karlovy Vary, Czech Republic. The video was judged the best country promotional film of 2007 from 775 entries representing 138 countries.
